Hmmmmm "The Marraige Party"

Wrrrrrr,i cant explain the heights of enjoyment we had all together,all of friends met after a long time and broke out the long noise which was ever in our hearts,we gotta a chance to make the ambiance "go merry" "go merry" ........
Though the conditions in Srinagar were too hard but still my friend's nuptial party went all over good.list of guests got reduced to one fourth,all most lot of people couldn't attend the party,they were not allowed to move out of their home.Some how those who lived near their house attend it but we all friends managed to drive up to our friends place.....and yap we all were there to make this party blast.

June 3,Wednesday:-( A day before henna day)
It was awesome day,though hot.It was 7pm i got ready for the party,didn't packed attire for other day i thought i will come back by tomorrow morning.I went downstairs and picked up the car keys,my friend annie was calling me continuously,as were getting late.And finally drove out at a speed of 70km/hr ( toooo fast in Kashmir) and reached to my other friends place annie to pick her,there her mum offered me fruit juice and then picked my other friend saraa.And then in hurry we drove to our brides place "Noureen".... It was too good to see her,LOVE her.We got a call from her parents that make her ready guests are waiting.She got dressed in a beautiful purple and brown kameez salwar" and god ! she is like very pretty,out of world.Its the day when we have to make her hair style ,like fasten up lot of ribbons in a bunch of hair with colored beads,still looked beautiful.We called her uncle and aunty to take her in big hall.There lot of women folk were singing for her.....and particularly for this day "day-----when women folk open the knots tied in brides hair".Uncle placed her in center of all women s,they all started to open her hair and singing loud,it was fun to see her.........And finally it was friends to turn out the hall into music,we started singing and every one followed us...we really enjoyed this part.And around 11pm went back into our room after dinner ,and dinner was special wazwaan yummy.Now we got the actual time when we time for fun,we gossiped on every topic we could and then finally made our bedding around 3;30 in the morning.

P.S:-When i piked my friend annie ,i had kept my cell phone in her room,and forgot to pick it up with me.
June 4,Wednesday:-( Henna day)

Morning was too good,quite charming.I gotta a call from my sister on my friends phone as my phone was not with me.She told me that your office car has come to take you office,but office,how come it was strike day.I talked to driver and told him to come to my friends annie's place.My driver came and asked me that as you are audit officer you have to attend office,i told hmmmmm.We drove to take my cell phone first.i made a first call to my mate and talked to him and some how managed there in the office and went back to home ,there i packed my attire's and after 15 mintz went back to party place.Now it was around 11am in the morning we dressed annie for mehendi"again was looking very beautiful".This part took around 6pm,we had lunch,singing and danced all till evening.Around 7pm it was time when some girls arrived from groom's place with some mehendi ,sweets.And in hurry we had to make good arrangements for them and even have to dress up bride again in green color.And yap we did that in a very arranged manner.
Now it was late 12 am when we had dinner,again it was tasty"wazwaan(taditional kashmiri dishes)....And now finally time for singing........band was singing too good,we danced all through.They were professional singers,singing on mic......it was too fun....we all gathered in circle and danced all long.God ! can you believe we didn't slept whole night,we danced all together.All women folks didn't slept,were singing and dancing loud........Clicked lot of pictures.


June 5,Wednesday:-( Nikah day)

Now Nikah day,every corner of house was spread with rose water,hmmmmm it was too lovely.Whole day we were busy making arrangements for Nikah ceremony,It was very simple Nikah,as it was Friday groom offered Zohar namaaz in masjid and nikah was read out in masjid and before an hour nikah was read in front of bride also.....Three times groom and bride were asked to say "YES",they want to take each other as husband and wife.And people started hugging each other and saying congratulations to each other.Now groom arrived,every one were standing out and confetti were thrown.It was very beautiful to see this part.Now groom had kahwa(Sp. Kashmiri kind of tea,with water+sugar+safron in it,it tastes too good),he didnt had dinner,not even juice.This was very simple kind of Nikah cermony,usually we serve groom with atleast 25-30 dishes and sweet dish,but this time groom wanted this nikah to be very simple,and his attire was just "Khan dress",he didnt prefferd to put shearwani.
Bride was loooking in her beautiful red Lahanga........now the time to when bride has to go,we covered her with shawl,her face should be covered in a way that no should see her.......We followed her to grooms place,where we sat for some time,her mother-in-law came and took off the shawl from her face and gifted her some gold.....Women were in circle singing for the bride,her beauty ,every thing they could.......
After some we all said adieu to bride and her eyes with tears,she hugged me ,tears trickeld down on our face and i just wishepered in her "Happy marraige,looooov you"...
And we all were back to brides house,with silence all over,but happy for Annie.......
